The park is under the care of the Friends of Dubose Park which was started in 1997 to see to cleaning it up a bit. The lighting here is quite nice for that walk to the grocery from your San Francisco apartment, with some lovely decorative posts along the pedestrian path. Events that happen here on a regular basis are flea markets and Santa's annual visit. Dogfest is another newer annual event where you can bring your pooch. Duboce Park is a place where dogs are welcome.
